Trouble

Mr Lonely

Nature's uncanny ability to dress for a big occasion marvels me.  It's as if somehow by the human calender she realises the much anticipated occasion has arrived.  Nature is going on a date, with her Creator!  She looks through her wardrobe, pushing aside surly Winter, she decides to wear Spring.  She's ready.  Even for Him, He's bound by the most pleasant of awe at her beauty.  Ageless.  "You look absolutely exquisite, perfectly gorgeous!" we'd remark.  But words like that are superflous to Him.  Instead, He greets her with a ray of kiss.  She knows that He is please.

So far, every Spring day has brought me much delight.  Not simply mere delight in a fleeting sense.  It fills me with an appreciation that God is simply awesome (truly, how can anyone even conceive the thought that there is no 'supreme' being who created all of nature on this breath-taking planet).  The only bugger is that I suffer from hay-fever!!

I totally love Akon's 'Mr Lonely' currently no.1 on the Video Hits chart.  Makes me reminisce.

Was listening on 98.5FM today and I absolutely love Natalie Grant's 'Held'

This entire week I trust to be enriched by the power and wisdom of God's Word.  My understanding of His biblical principles have taken new flight as if my eyes were opened for the first time and being able to see what had always been there.  Never had I seen God's word been so astoundingly applicable.  Bill Gothard's Basic Life Principle seminar has been a notable turning point in my Christian walk.
